What to Do in Ponta do Sol? There are the Waterfall dos Anjos

Located 5 km west of Ponta do Sol, the waterfall is right in the middle of the road leading to Madalena do Mar. You can't miss it! It requires passing through 2 tunnels via E.R. 101 by car.

This locality is surrounded by extensive banana plantations. Moreover, in Madalena do Mar, you can easily wander through the plantations following what they call the Banana Route (Rota da Banana). This route forms a loop, but you are free to explore the plantations at your own pace, entering and exiting as you please. Madalena do Mar is just a 6-minute drive west of Ponta do Sol.
